With sustainability at the forefront of what we do, we can carefully identify and maximise the re-use of materials during the deconstruction of all buildings.

Safety is of the upmost importance to us. Our team are fully trained and are always kept up to date with the latest legislation and codes of practise to ensure the ongoing safety of our workforce and the public.

We have worked in many sectors including commercial high rise office blocks, schools, hospitals, petrol stations, heritage buildings and domestic properties.

As part of our services J&A Contracting have a specialist soft strip and enabling team who are aware that each strip out project is unique and will need to be tailored to your individual specifications.

Strip-outs can be carried out prior to demolition work, for refurbishment, refits or D-rating. As part of our service we can help you to identify materials that can be reused or advise on how to dispose of unwanted items in an environmentally responsible way.
With more and more existing buildings being repurposed rather than demolished, our enabling team are carrying out numerous structural alterations. This type of work is important for the future regeneration of buildings.

We can carry out soft strip services on all types of buildings from office blocks down to a single floor of any building whilst still occupied. Within our soft strip process we are not limited to fixtures and fittings and have completed projects which have required the removal of escalators and passenger lifts.

J&A Contracting have a full fleet of machinery and demolition attachments for hire.
Machinery ranging from five to fifty tonnes, all of which is tier 4/5 emission rated. Meaning compliance with the environmental standards required for use of machinery in and outside of London.

We can also provide experienced plant operatives for the duration of the hire and arrange transportation and delivery to you at your required location.

J&A Contracting have a dedicated team that can assist you with all labour supply needs.

Whether you need a labourer for one day or a site supervisor for the duration of your contract we will strive to find the right operative for the task.

All of our labour force has the correct qualifications and training for the job they are assigned for example CSCS, CPCS, CCDO and SMSTS cards.

J&A Contracting offer a full asbestos removal service from start to finish eliminating the need to use multiple contractors.
We can arrange for licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal surveys, safe removal and disposal of all materials and provide you the appropriate certification and waste reports.

Following asbestos removal, we can reinstate the materials with a non-asbestos equivalent to ensure compliance to all regulations and project completion.
